NAI raised funding more than USD 100 thousand for humanitarian aid efforts in Ukraine

From the very beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine North American Interpipe raised funding more than USD 100 thousand for humanitarian aid efforts due to the coordinated work of its employees.

Sales and procurement managers as well as back-office employees inform their partners about the current situation in Ukraine and involve them in humanitarian cooperation. They were temporarily engaged in the search and purchase of bulletproof vests and helmets, hemostatic agents and first-aid kits for the Ukrainian military. NAI’s employees also purchased and handed over 40 satellite phones for the Ukrainian armed forces.

Chelsea Bryce, North and South Americas pipe sales manager:
- From the first days of the war we sent letters to our clients and friends explaining how they can aid Ukraine and Ukrainians. We received many words of support and offers of help. Of course, difficulties were encountered, especially with the purchase of protective equipment, because their sale in the USA is strictly regulated by legislation, special licenses are required for the purchase and export of equipment. In addition, their number was limited, as many other organizations in the United States procured similar military goods for courageous Ukrainian army. The United States and Americans continue to support Ukraine!
